Case
T.B. Dam School was founded in 1967 and has been the name behind many successful individuals. On 24 January 2018, they wanted to celebrate this legacy on the occasion of completing 50 years with ‘Golden Jubilee Alumni Meet’
What made this different than other Golden Jubilee was the magnitude! The organizing committee was seeking a participation of 6000+ Alumni but they had a very small alumni data, hence had very limited means to reach out to them and promote the event.
With this celebrations, the organizing committee also aimed at soliciting funds from the established alumni to develop the school infrastructure, but had no direct means to collect the funds, from alumni across the globe.
Hence, the team was facing 3 Major Challenges
- Lack of Alumni Database
- No Event Promotion Strategy
- No Means to collect funds
Solution
The organizing committee initiated the plans for the celebrations in September 2017. They initiated reaching out to the alumni through personal networks. They also approached retired teachers, to make the celebrations ‘Once in a Lifetime Experience’ for the attendees.
The organizing team came across the website of AlmaShines, while searching for a solution to help them build a website for the alumni meet. In our preliminary discussion we got to learn about their vast vision and we recommended them an integrated solution to manage the complete Alumni Meet i.e. right from Database building to event promotions to Event Registrations and fund management, everything on a single platform.
Along with this, AlmaShines also built a plan to promote the Alumni Meet and fetch registrations for the meet, making it a holistic end to end solution for the organizing committee.

Total Fund Collected: More than INR 1 Crore
